New Release - Mexico Coues Rifle Hunt
Any weapon, 6 days
Booking: End of Jan, early Feb 2027
Camp: Mexican ranch up in the hills with a local cook and food. The food is outstanding and literally one of the best things about this hunt.
Hunters need to get themselves to Tucson, AZ, and I will take care of the rest. I will help you through all the necessary paperwork for yourself and your weapon. Once on the ranch we start each day early and spend most of our time glassing for big Coues bucks. This is a trophy hunt in the rut. Each property will be previously scouted by me and my outfitting partner.
Spring Black Bear
Any weapon, 5.5 days
Booking: April 25 - Jun 12, 2027
Camp: Wall tent/spike camp
The hunt includes cruising logging roads, glassing cut blocks, and hiking into the alpine, depending on the circumstances. It's a high-opportunity hunt but still challenging. We are targeting mature bears over 6 feet squared. In 2025, I had 6 clients and we killed 5 bears. Our biggest bear last year made the BC book with a 19" skull and went over 7 feet squared. We can adjust the hunt's difficulty based on your preferences. My area spans 3,000 sq km and has plenty of unexplored alpine.
Fall Bear Hunt
Any weapon, 5.5 days
Booking all September 2027
Camp: Wall tent/spike camp
This hunt will primarily be a float trip down a long section of the river, ideal for archery hunters seeking trophy black bears, though rifle hunters are also welcome. The salmon run upriver at this time of year, attracting bears to the river. If the action slows, we'll head into the alpine where bears feed on berries.
BC Rut Mule Deer
Any weapon, 5.5 days
Booking Oct 25 - Nov 13m 2027
Camp: Wall tent/spike camp
Weather greatly impacts the elevation for this hunt. I offer an early October alpine hunt and a late October to early November rut hunt at lower elevations due to heavy snow in the high country. For the alpine hunts, we usually backpack in, while for the rut hunts, we utilize a base camp and ATVs. If weather permits, we can also spike out during the rut hunts. There are significant burns in my area, which have led to a high density of deer. These hunts involve a lot of hiking and glassing. There is a reasonable chance of taking a buck in the 140-160 class in this area.
BC Early Season Alpine Mule Deer
Any weapon, 6 days
Booking September 2027
Camp: Spike camp
This is a classic backpack hunt - a total of a 10-mile hike into the area, usually split up over two days so we can glass from a vantage point on the morning of day 2. Lots of glassing with a very healthy population of good size mule deer. High success rate hunt but definitely requires a decent level of physical fitness. Can be paired with a float hunt for black bear afterwards.
Alberta Archery Mule Deer
5.5 days
Booking Oct 10-23m 2027
Accommodation: Wall tent
This area features expansive badlands terrain with massive coulees. We'll glass in the mornings, locate bucks, and make stalks throughout the day. It's a high-opportunity hunt, but these deer are very challenging to kill. It's a rewarding experience, as I had a client kill a 193" buck here two years ago.
Alpine Goat
Any weapon, 8 days
This is a backpack hunt where we hike up to a glacier. We cross a couple of lakes on the way up, and I have canoes stashed along the route. The goat population is healthy and has been untouched by hunting for the last four years. There are no over-the-counter resident tags available for this area.
You can add a black bear or mule deer onto any of the fall BC hunts for an additional trophy fee if time and inclination permit. You do not need to decide beforehand.
Prices/Availability
Prices do not include tag and license costs. To book a hunt, a 50% deposit is required. If two people book together, I will reduce the price by $500 per person.
